hello. I'm a multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker interested in telling stories of the digital realm (current fixation) focussing on the alienation and distance we uniquely feel as a result of the times. I like experimenting with new forms that come my way, be it animation, live action, fiction, non-fiction, mixed or interactive media.

My graduation film from the National Institute of Design, Insides and Outsides, explores what it is like being a Muslim in India. It has travelled widely and won accolades nationally and internationally.

I have spent around ten years dabbling with the medium of film, playing almost every role along the way, and now mostly practice as a director. I have now started producing projects while working on my own personal practice.

Right now I'm also building Paperscratch, a startup that I'm building with my sister Samina Rahman.. Very WIP - more on that soon.
